1968 Shelby GT500 Fastback, $79,750.

AUBURN, IN.- Auctions America by RM hosted its first collector car auction in Carlisle, PA this past weekend as part of its recent strategic alliance with Carlisle Events. The three-day sale took place at the Carlisle Expo Center during the annual ‘Spring Carlisle’ weekend event, producing a 58 percent sell-through rate for a total of over $2.7 million** in sales. The 272 motor cars which crossed the block represented almost every decade of automobile production, ranging from pre-war classics to late model sports cars.

“We’re pleased with the results of the Spring Carlisle sale and it was a great way to officially launch our partnership with Carlisle Events,” said Donnie Gould, President, Auctions America by RM.

“It was a real pleasure to work with Auctions America by RM at Spring Carlisle,” noted Carlisle Events partner Bill Miller III. “With Auctions America by RM, we saw our highest sell-through rate and most cars offered all in the same weekend. Better yet, it was great to reconnect with our existing clients and to welcome many new faces from Auctions America to the Spring Carlisle environment.”
