In October 2010,
Guggenheim and YouTube, in collaboration with HP and Intel, presented YouTube Play. A Biennial of Creative Video. From more than 23,000 YouTube video submissions from 91 countries across the globe, the Guggenheims curators selected shortlist of 125 videos, from which a distinguished jury picked the top 25 works. The top videos and artists were celebrated at an event at the Guggenheim Museum in New York on October 21, 2010. Videos were projected on the exterior of Frank Lloyd Wrights landmark building on Fifth Avenue as well as inside the museums rotunda. From October 22 to 24, 2010 the works were shown at Guggenheim museums in New York, Berlin, Bilbao, and Venice. The online component of the project is its YouTube channel, where you can still view the shortlist and top 25 videos, as well as highlights from the event in New York.
The Tribeca Disruptive Innovation Awards were held at the Citigroup Auditorium, and were presented by the Tribeca Film Festival in association with Harvard Business School Professor Clayton Christensen and the Disruptor Foundation.
