Association of International Photography Art Dealers has announced that AXA Art Insurance Corporation, the worlds leading art insurance specialist, has renewed its partnership with the association and will continue to be the premier corporate partner of AIPAD through 2014.
AIPAD has also announced the addition of three new members:
*David Zwirner, New York, NY, a contemporary art gallery active in both the primary and secondary markets, known for fostering the careers of some of the most influential artists working today;
*Sasha Wolf Gallery, New York, NY, specializing in cotemporary photography, specifically documentary and post-documentary based work; and
*798 Photo Gallery, Beijing, China, the first art gallery devoted fine art photography in China, which opened in 2003.
The AIPAD Photography Show New York, one of the worlds most important annual photography events, will be held March 29 April 1, 2012, at the Park Avenue Armory in New York City. The 32nd edition of the Show will open with a Gala Preview on March 28 to benefit InMotion, a nonprofit organization providing legal services for low-income women. More than 70 of the worlds leading fine art photography galleries will present a wide range of museum-quality work including contemporary, modern and 19th century photographs, as well as photo-based art, video, and new media. The AIPAD Photography Show New York is the longest running and foremost exhibition of fine art photography.
