Holly Davis named Norton Museum of Art's New Development Director
Davis comes to the Norton from the University of Miami where she served for seven years as the Assistant Dean for Development at the university’s College of Arts and Sciences.



WEST PALM BEACH, FL.- The Norton Museum of Art has appointed Holly Davis as its new Deputy Director - Development. Davis’ responsibilities at The Norton include overseeing special events, membership, donor relations, and fundraising.

“Holly brings experience, innovation, and enthusiasm to the position and I could not be more thrilled to have her join the Norton at a time when the Museum is growing and gaining recognition for its original exhibitions, programming, and its Permanent Collection,” said Museum Executive Director Hope Alswang.

"My goal is to develop the resources that will enhance the Norton's commitments to art and to the local community,” Davis said. “I’m very excited by this opportunity."

Davis comes to the Norton from the University of Miami where she served for seven years as the Assistant Dean for Development at the university’s College of Arts and Sciences, the university’s largest academic unit. She began her career at the University of Chicago Law School, of which she is a graduate, serving as Assistant Dean for Alumni Relations and Development.

Before joining the University of Miami, Davis served as the chief development officer at the School of Management at George Mason University in Virginia. She also has held positions in development at American University in Washington, D.C.

She received her BA from Michigan State University - Magna Cum Laude, and her JD from the University of Chicago Law School.
