The new face of New Architecture Magazine |
LONDON, ENGLAND.- Publication of Innovation heralds the new face of New Architecture Magazine as it celebrates its transformation into NewArch softening the barriers between the design disciplines. With authoritative articles and radical new design, NewArch is published in softback and also in hardcover, stressing its value as a reference source of the future.
Innovation (inõveiƒen) - the alteration of what is established or, more forcefully, revolution, rebellion or insurrection.
New technologies and new philosophical concepts have converted what was once wishful thinking and referred to disparagingly as ‘paper architecture’ into a world suddenly full of exciting architectural forms. Today, in the words of Wolf Prix, ‘You can only succeed in architecture if you are doing visionary buildings in terms of programme, shape and structure.’ These new ideas, inspired also by science and the space industry, have filtered through to the worlds of business, sport, shopping and entertainment. This is not innovation for the sake of innovation but architecture based on carefully considered ideas that enhance and add visually to our experience of life today.
