LONDON.- Christie’s announced 41 international contemporary galleries will be participating in what continues to be the UK's only fair devoted exclusively to contemporary art in editions. Once again the salerooms in South Kensington will be transformed during Frieze week. The fair will be open to the public with free admission from 18-21 October 2013.

Murray Macaulay, Director, Multiplied, commented: “Multiplied’s eclectic mix of established galleries exhibiting eminent artists, and young galleries with new talent, represents the whole gamut of contemporary art in editions, from traditional printmaking and photography, to the experimental edge of 3-D printing and digital art. This year I am delighted to welcome new galleries, from South Africa, Spain, Italy, North America and the UK, some of whom have never exhibited in a Fair in this country before. Our guest exhibition this year is Art in Action - Community and Collaboration, which profiles three community-based print workshops in Johannesburg, London and New York, exploring, through their stories, the transforming role of the print workshop in overcoming social inequality.”

Multiplied 2013 will feature a carefully curated selection of forty one contemporary galleries from around the world. Amongst this year’s exhibitors are leading fine art print facilities including Artist Proof Studio, Johannesburg, londonprintstudio, London and Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop / Forth Estate, New York, who will take part in the Art in Action: Community and Collaboration guest exhibition. Newcomers include David Krut Projects, Johannesburg, Cape Town and New York, Highpoint Editions, Minneapolis, Paul Stolper Gallery, London and Vital Arts, London. The fair will also feature recent graduate work from The Royal College of Art MA Print Programme.

The fair will showcase some of the best home grown talents as well as a number of international artists. Rising stars will be presented alongside well-known contemporary artists from Ingleby Gallery, Marc Quinn, Flowers Gallery and Whitechapel Gallery.

The fair will build upon the success of the original Multiplied model launched in 2010 with exciting new works to be launched, a tailored programme of art events and special projects, and themed pop-up cafe by William Norris & Company.
