LONDON.- On Thursday 17th October, Moniker Art Fair will reveal their site specific artist project installations, alongside work from an exciting selection of international galleries.

In a new home at the Old Truman Brewery this year, Moniker will continue in a tradition of disrupting the status quo with a Voodoo inspired installation from London-based artist David Shillinglaw and a new project, 'Meet me in the City' from the painter and animator Jo Peel, where visitors will walk through a London street of abandoned buildings, crumbling walls and surprising multimedia experiences.

Moniker will also offer visitors the chance to sit for a portrait by Keira Rathbone, otherwise known as 'Typewriter Artist' who creates intricate portraits on 1950s typewriters.

Elsewhere, visitors will be plunged into an Apocalypse Now-style Thai jungle with the maverick Souled Out Studios - Bring your bandanas, ration packs and mosquito repellent!

Artist Ryan Callanan has devised an installation featuring retro sign-writing craftwork alongside his signature wall mounted acid smileys that highlight the thin line between dance celebration and deadly poison.

Hang-Up Gallery create a vintage snug room complete with panelled walls, trinkets, sofas and rugs to create an immersive ambience in which to view the art and there is also the chance to interact with the virtual Lego creations of Ego Leonard.

This year, Moniker will exhibit a rare Shepard Fairey mural, as well as work by D*Face, Deedee Cheriel, Banksy, Greg Lamarche, Stanley Donwood, Stephen Walter and many more.

Moniker Art Fair is London's foremost event for contemporary and urban art, and has showcased and championed the likes of Polly Morgan, Ben Eine and Herakut over the last four years. This year it shares a space with The Other Art Fair
