Speaking of the idea of Uneasy Trip in Asia, Curator Fang Fang says, The sense of uneasiness comes from my direct intuition that needs no further elaboration. As an exhibition, it does not only come from the response to the Asia social reality, but originates from the artists themselves, such as childhood memories, personal emotions and crises of faith. The sense of uneasiness could even become their motivation of literary creation. Uneasy trip in Hong Kong will showcase 27 artworks from 16 young Chinese contemporary artists that will give a peep through the latest creation features from emerging young artists in Asia.
Poly Gallery Manager, Vivian Har says: Poly Hong Kong Gallery is really looking forward to co-organize this exhibition with Star Gallery; this exhibition will present a series of exquisite artworks from Asia, especially Chinese emerging young artists. With the increasing world-wide recognition of Chinese Contemporary Art, it is a great opportunity for Poly Gallery to explore a more broaden international platform for emerging and high-quality Chinese artists. In future, Poly Gallery will cooperate with galleries around the world, well-known artists, curators and art critics, not only to introduce exquisite art collection to Hong Kong, but also to create a platform for connoisseurs and scholars to share and exchange ideas.
