A&F Markets announces the publication of Art and Taxation for the Global Collector
Across 450 pages, Art and Taxation for the Global Collector covers tax on purchases, possession and sales in 86 territories, from major countries to tiny tax havens.

PARIS.- A&F Markets has announced the release of Art and Taxation for the Global Collector (L’art et la fiscalité du collectionneur dans le monde), a comprehensive guide to the international taxation systems which apply to art.

“Art is subject to individual taxation in most of the ‘big’ countries. Nevertheless, nobody has yet attempted to compare the different tax systems, despite the fact that they have a strong influence on the location of transactions,” explains Antoine Cadeo de Iturbide, Director of Operations at A&F Markets and author of Art and Taxation for the Global Collector, his first book. “We aimed to make the book as simple, accessible and comprehensive as possible, adopting a similar layout and presentation for each territory, without compromising on information.”

Across 450 pages, Art and Taxation for the Global Collector covers tax on purchases, possession and sales in 86 territories, from major countries to tiny tax havens. The guide also offers information on tax incentives for patronage, and to the enforcement of resale rights in most countries. It ends with an extensive glossary as well as the names and addresses of tax-free ports and zones in Europe.

“There’s a reason that no-one has ever produced a similar product: this guide has been two years in the making for Antoine and the A&F Markets teams,” reveals Pierre Naquin, A&F Markets founder and director of publication of Art and Taxation for the Global Collector. “Nevertheless, we still have work to do! Taxation is constantly evolving, and we intend to produce an updated version of the publication annually.”

Art and Taxation for the Global Collector can be purchased online at arttaxguide.com.

The book is delivered in five days following purchase.
