TOLEDO, OH.- Mary K. Siefke of Perrysburg has joined the Toledo Museum of Art staff as chief financial officer.

“Mary’s background and experience make her highly qualified to manage the Museum’s financial operations and an excellent addition to the TMA staff,” said Chief Operating Officer Carol Bintz in announcing the appointment.

A certified public accountant, Siefke had been with ProMedica Health System since 2002, serving as director of finance for Paramount companies the past three years and managing a staff of 30 accountants and analysts.

Prior to that time, she successively held the positions of senior accounting specialist, controller and then manager of finance for Paramount companies at ProMedica. She earlier was an auditor in the Toledo office of Ernst & Young LLP.

A graduate of Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana, Siefke holds a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Toledo.

Active in the community, she is treasurer of the First Presbyterian Church of Maumee and has been a member of the Parks and Recreation Committee for Perrysburg Parks, working directly with city council members and employees to ensure park safety and maintenance.

“I'm honored to join the Toledo Museum of Art and have the opportunity to support an organization that has such a positive impact on Toledo and the region,” Siefke said.

The Museum, which has a 36-acre campus on Monroe Street, is a private, nonprofit 501(c) 3 organization funded through individual donations, foundation grants, corporate sponsorships and investments.
