Leading traveling exhibition company appoints Franck Cordes Senior Vice President
Franck Cordes, a forerunner in the arts and cultural community will now lead EDG’s Exhibition Sales and Development division.



SAINT PAUL, MN.- Exhibits Development Group, USA, Leader in developing and distributing traveling exhibitions, has named Franck Cordes Senior Vice President of Exhibition Sales and Development.

Franck Cordes, a forerunner in the arts and cultural community will now lead EDG’s Exhibition Sales and Development division. Cordes brings more than 20 years of experience with museum management and arts organizations. He comes to EDG from the Foundation for the National Archives, where he most recently served as the organization’s Deputy Executive Director of Operations. Mr. Cordes was instrumental in the formation of the Foundation and its National Archives Experience and Museum. Cordes began his career in museums managing the retail operations for The Phillips Collection, Washington DC. He will join EDG in its Washington, D.C. office on September 8, 2014.

“Franck is a great addition to lead the continued growth of EDG’s international traveling exhibitions and consulting services,” said Amy Noble Seitz, Founder & CEO of EDG. “2015 is a pivotal year for EDG and its future as we expand our exhibition offerings, roll out a wholly owned retail program and develop a global distribution system for the museum community.”

Franck received a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts and an M.F.A from the Maryland Art Institute College of Art. He is a published artist and musician, whose storytelling installations, performances, and works of art have been featured across the country. He has taught drawing and painting, and is a regular guest reviewer and lecturer for exhibition design and museum marketing university courses.

Cordes’ appointment is part of a strategic growth plan and was chosen following a national search. “I am delighted to join EDG, the leading traveling exhibitions company with its incredible roster of science, art, popular culture and history exhibits,” said Franck Cordes, Senior Vice President of Exhibition Sales and Development. “I am looking forward to working with Founder & CEO Amy Seitz and the entire team to expand EDG’s mission of international cultural exchange."

EDG’s growth expands into retail and corporate partnerships initiating the hire of two key members to EDG’s staff, Kevin Quinn and Jean Ryan.

As the newly appointed VP of Retail Strategies, Kevin Quinn comes to EDG with over 20 years of experience in the Fashion, Travel and Technology industries. His expertise lies within the Fashion and Consumer Trends, Retail Development and Revenue Growth Strategy disciplines. His Kevin’s career includes national retail management experience as Fashion Director with Nordstrom, and in 2006, Kevin created and opened STYLEDLIFE®, a men's and women's designer accessories emporium that was named by AOL/MSN 2007 CityGuides as a top 5 "new and notable store" nationwide. EDG is excited to have Kevin’s passion to drive its exhibition retail development.

Leading EDG’s sponsorship efforts, Jean Ryan, VP of Corporate Partnerships, has been identifying and developing strategic marketing partnerships for the last 20 years. Jean continues to deliver strategic solutions to clients and properties through traditional and non-traditional marketing channels. She specializes in strategy, activation and measurement of sponsorship and experiential marketing investments. The expertise Jean brings to EDG opens up new paths for growth and exposure for EDG and its portfolio of exhibitions.
