LONDON.- Phillips announced the appointment of Lisa King as Chief of Staff to assist in the expansion of the brand, strategy and business plan for the next phase of its development.

“I am delighted to have been given this opportunity to work with Edward Dolman and the senior management team at an exciting time in the development of Phillips. There are significant opportunities in the auction and art market and Phillips is assembling an experienced and innovative team to capture this potential. The opening of the spectacular new auction and exhibition space in London’s Berkeley Square marks an important step forward for the business and I am eager to assist in the further expansion and enhancement of the Phillips brand”. said Lisa King, Chief of Staff.

Lisa King has extensive experience in the art market having been International Managing Director, Chief Operating Officer and a member of the Board of Christie’s International plc during her 15-year tenure. During this time, Lisa worked closely with Edward Dolman and the senior management team to steer Christie’s through a period of unprecedented growth leading in turn to Christie’s achieving and maintaining market leadership. Over the last three years she has been advising on several international commercial art and museum projects. Lisa King is also a Board Trustee of Earthwatch.

Prior to her career in the art sector, Lisa King was a lawyer in the City of London.
