The Thuman family, famous for cold cuts and delicatessen products, consigned a large cast bronze figural sculpture entitled “The Abduction of the Sabine” signed P. Loison, Pierre Loison (French, 1816-1886). Elegantly situated on a rotating fluted column, the work stands nearly six feet tall.

A Far Hills, New Jersey family descended from the Dillons is selling a large collection that was in their contiguous large equestrian estates, Overleigh and Fieldview. There are black-and-white photographs and needlepoint of and vistas from the house. There is a large collection of sterling silver including a Spratling Silver Tea Service (Estimate:$8-12,000) and impressive silver-plate, such as hot water kettles and epergnes.
