BUENOS AIRES.- The artist Federico Bacher has created a forest at Buenos Aires Dorrego Underground station, line B

Many trees have grown at the station, not only on the slopes but on both platforms. The climate of the station has changed. People enjoy the Underground Forest with frogs and birds hidden in it.

Bacher ripped an important year travelling to Shanghai for a major residence for three months. While in Shanghai he performed a solo exhibition by a renowned gallery in China, riding facility trees in Chinese ink on rice paper of 6 feet tall and a dragon in the same technique that moved as people passed by.

One of his works "Happy New Air" was auctioned in Beijing in a charity auction for U.S. $ 10,000 by duplicating local Chinese values. His residence and exhibition in Shanghai was published in major Chinese media, with notes in the China Daily, Bazaar Magazine and Luxure Properties Magazine.

Bacher´s forests and trees are being planted in Buenos Aires. Weeks before leaving for China he made a mega mural of 30 feet high in the Puerto Pampa enterprise architecture for the new Arts District.

Then, two large murals were created in Norcenter Shopping Mall, and his latest mural was at a new shop in Belgrano.

Bacher shares his experiences from his professorship at the IUNA and has plans to return to China to Beijing Biennale organized by Argentina's Foreign Ministry.
