An Hermès Extraordinary Collection 30cm Diamond, Shiny Black Porosus Crocodile Birkin Bag with 18K White Gold Hardware finished the day at $87,500, while a superb Hermès Extraordinary Collection 35cm Diamond, Shiny Braise Porosus Crocodile Birkin Bag with 18K White Gold Hardware proved very desirable to a high-end collector at $78,125.

Flirting with the $70,000 mark was an Hermès 35cm Matte Pink 5P Alligator Birkin Bag with Palladium Hardware, which rose to $68,750, a mark equaled by an Hermès Special Order Horseshoe 35cm Shiny Amethyst & Graphite Porosus Crocodile Birkin Bag with Gold Hardware.

A world record price was realized for an Hermès leather Birkin when a 30cm Marron Fonce Clemence Leather Birkin Bag with Gold Hardware, considered by collectors as perhaps the perfect starter Birkin for a collector, broke the previous mark of $30,000 to finish the auction at $32,500. An Hermès Special Order 32cm Vert Cru, Jaune & Blue Thalassa Clemence Leather Retourne Kelly with Gold Hardware set a world record price for a Kelly bag when it realized $25,000
