PONCE, PR.- The Museo de Arte de Ponce opens its doors to receive the Magi of Juana Díaz on Magi Family Day. The visitors will enjoy art, and at the same time relive the tradition that we always celebrate in Puerto Rico, on the eve of Three Kings Day.

The activity, which is free, will take place on January 5, 2015 in the installations of the museum. In addition, the participants will be enchanted by the diverse artistic and educational programs offered from 11:00 a.m. through to 5:00 p.m.

“With the goal of instilling the Puerto Rican customs in future generations, the Museo de Arte de Ponce created a series of artistic workshops. These will reinforce the plastic arts and linguistic education of the partakers,” expressed Alejandra Peña, Director of the museum.

In the workshops, the children will create crowns made out of cardboard, write their letters to the Wise Men, and produce sculptures of the Magi. In the same manner, during the program of activities, the public will be able to share with the Magi of Juana Díaz. Also, the visitors will be overjoyed by the special tours, gifts, music and many surprises.
