PORT SUNLIGHT, ENGLAND.- As part of the Queen's golden jubilee celebration, The Lady Lever Art Gallery will exhibit ten Leonardo da Vinci drawings that are part of the Queen's collection stored at Windsor Castle. The drawings will travel to seven regional museums. According to Theresa-Mary Morton, exhibition coordinator at the Royal Collection, said: "You cannot put a value on them, as they are irreplaceable." After Port Sunlight, they will travel to Swansea, Sheffield and Belfast. The works were chosen by assistant curator Martin Clayton.
