LOS ANGELES, CA.- AuctionMyStuff’s 20-day online Prints & Multiples sale offers collectors the opportunity to invest in affordable prints from some the most famous names in art history. The auction comprises an array of works by leading artists of the 17th century to the present day, with a superb selection of Modern prints.

The auction is led by a late abstract lithograph by Joan Miró, Querelle d'Amoureux II, estimated at $6000-8000 (approx. £4000-5250). While the current auction record for a Miró is almost £23 million, paid for his Blue Star painting in 2012, limited edition prints by the artist are a much more affordable way to add his artworks to your collection. Other highlights from the Modern section include prints by Pablo Picasso, Georges Braque and Jean Cocteau.

The sale also has a special selection for collectors of limited edition vintage posters. Highlights include a rare early 19th century Montmartre cabaret poster by noted Belle Epoch artist Jules-Alexandre Grün, as well as a poster designed and signed by Henry Moore for his 1972 exhibition in Florence.

Many of the greatest and most world-renowned artists, including Rembrandt van Rijn, Picasso, Miró, Braque, created limited edition graphic art works, using the medium of printmaking to experiment with different techniques and effects that could not have been produced in oil on canvas. These prints are often seen as an entry point into the art market for new collectors, where they can acquire a genuine Picasso or Rembrandt artwork by a without having to spend millions.
