AUBURN, IN.- Auctions America will officially kick off its 2015 collector car season, March 27 – 29 with the return of its highly anticipated Fort Lauderdale Collector Car auction. Celebrating its 13th year, the upcoming sale is set to continue the company’s strong track record in South Florida, lifting the gavel on approximately 500 quality vehicles. From a superb group of American classics and Detroit muscle to an exciting series of late model collectibles; the catalog caters to a broad range of tastes and budgets, from the entry-level collector to the veteran hobbyist.

In addition to providing a wonderful showcase of automotive history and design for collectors and enthusiasts alike, Auctions America’s Fort Lauderdale event will proudly lend its support to the local South Florida community with 100 percent of proceeds from the sale of a 1934 Ford Street Rod Roadster benefiting the Boys & Girls Club of Broward County (BGCBC). Stunning in pearl white with a black soft-top and gray custom interior; the classic hot rod is powered by a Chevrolet V-8 engine and features five-spoke Cragar-style wheels with Goodyear blackwall tires, along with a removable top and rumbleseat. Estimated to fetch between $45,000 - $50,000, it will be offered without reserve during the event’s Saturday, March 28 session. The BGCBC is a non-profit private agency dedicated to helping young people improve their lives by building self-esteem and developing values and skills during their critical period of growth. Each year, the BGCBC serves more than 12,500 at-risk youth, ages 6-18, in South Florida’s Broward County.

“Following a record 2014, we’re thrilled to kick off our 2015 season in Fort Lauderdale. This year’s offering is again highlighted by its great quality and diversity – there’s truly something for everyone,” says Donnie Gould, President of Auctions America and South Florida collector car veteran. “As a company, Auctions America is committed to giving back to the local communities in which we operate. We’re proud to be supporting the BGCBC and their important work in helping inspire and enable children to realize their full potential. The 1934 Ford Street Rod Roadster is a fantastic car. Combining a classic vintage look with modern driving comforts and convenience, it is made for the road, ideal for long distance road trips.”

Auctions America’s Fort Lauderdale sale will also lift the gavel on a selection of 45 automobiles from the Cayman Motor Museum Collection. The result of more than 35 years of dedicated acquisition by lifelong enthusiast, Andreas Ugland, the group encompasses an eclectic assortment of automobiles, along with a series of motorcycles, all offered without reserve.

Highlights include:
