LOS ANGELES, CA.- The fair drew notable guests including Hollywood industry such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Drew Barrymore, Jamie Lee Curtis, Albert Brooks, Keegan-Michael Key, Ethan Suplee, Billy Zane, Danny Fuller, Minnie Driver, Devendra Banhart, Brenda Vaccaro, Mena Suvari, Molly Simms, Darren Star, Steve and Krista Levitan Jeremy and Marissa Zimmer, Liz Goldwyn, Cliff and Mandy Einstein, Darren Romanelli, and Jim Berkus; as well as art world principals Ali Subotnick, Britt Salvesen, Shamim M. Momin, Deborah Irmas, Pierpaolo Barzan and artists, Aaron Young, Piero Golia, Catherine Opie, Sterling Ruby, among others.

Paris Photo Los Angeles 2015 presents 79 galleries and art book publishers from 17 countries.

With 20 young galleries coming as far as Tehran and Sydney, as well as London, New York, Paris, Milan, Sao Paulo, Zurich and, of course, Los Angeles, Paris Photo Los Angeles brings emerging contemporary photography to the forefront, culminating with the first edition of the INTRODUCING! Young California Photographer Award.

The INTRODUCING! Young California Photographer Award, supported by J.P. Morgan Private Bank, provides an opportunity to identify the talents of tomorrow and honors the work of one M.F.A. candidate enrolled in an art school in California. CJ Heyliger is the winner of the first edition.

The jury was chaired by Lisa K.Erf - Director and Chief Curator of the JPMorgan Chase Art Collection; Christoph Wiesner - Artistic Director of Paris Photo; Michael Hawley, collector; Britt Salvesen, Director and Curator of the Wallis Annenberg Department at LACMA; Jamie Lee Curtis - actress, collector and photographer and Jennifer Pastore - Director of Photography of WSJ. Wall Street Journal Magazine.

CALIFORNIA UNEDITED!
Paris Photo presents CALIFORNIA UNEDITED!

The Archives of R.J. Arnold exhibits for the first time in Los Angeles an exceptional collection of photography from late 19th century California. These rarely-seen glass plate photographs depict the community of San Luis Obispo through the eyes of one photographer, Richard J. Arnold. The exhibition is curated by Anthony Lepore and supported by amanasalto.
