What's more this particular coin has the distinction of having been the 1914 ANS Exhibition Plate Coin.

A classic 19th century gold rarity, an 1875 $5 PR64 Cameo NGC, one of only nine proofs believed known in private hands, is another treasure that is sure to be wildly sought-after by top collectors, while a 1799 'No Berries' Silver Dollar MS65 NGC, double struck, terminal die state, being offered in the auction represents the true rarity of Gem Uncirculated Heraldic Eagle dollars and a coin that is often underestimated by even experienced collectors and series specialists, a function of the larger mintages and the longer duration of the series.

"The survival rate of Gem or finer Heraldic Eagle dollars is significantly less than that of either the Flowing Hair or Small Eagle types in terms of Gem or finer coins," said Rohan.
