Cincinnati Art Museum announces new Board Leaders and Trustees for 2015- 2016
New Chair Martha Ragland, who served as President of the Board for the last two years.



CINCINNATI, OH.- The Cincinnati Art Museum announced the election of a new President of the Board of Trustees, Jon Moeller, Chief Financial Officer of Procter & Gamble since 2009; and new Chair Martha Ragland, who served as President of the Board for the last two years.

Andrew DeWitt, President/CEO of Dewey’s Pizza, will be serving as Vice President after having previously served as Treasurer. Amy Hanson, Executive Vice President for Credit, Customer and Financial Services for Macy’s was named new Treasurer. Polk Laffoon IV, freelance writer and civic volunteer, was named Secretary. In addition, five new trustees have been elected:

Richard Grad, Liz Grubow, Eric Kearney, Tom Keckeis, and Jim Sowar, who will assume their roles beginning September 1, 2015. Richard Grad serves as Global Chief Litigation Counsel at GE Aviation, and has held that position since August 2014. Prior to GE, Grad was a senior partner at Sidley Austin LLP in the firm’s Los Angeles, Calif. offices, where he served as global co-chair of Sidley’s Financial Services/Class Action Litigation Group.

Liz Grubow is the Vice President and Managing Creative Director of the LPK Beauty Group. She has more than 20 years of experience and specialized expertise on beauty, health and wellness brands and has helped develop and manage brand identity programs for some of the world’s most successful beauty brands, including Pantene, Olay, MAX Factor International and Cover Girl.

Eric Kearney served as Senator for the 9th District of Ohio from 2005 through 2014. His professional experience includes serving as an attorney at Strauss & Troy, as President/Publisher/Chairman at KGL Media and The Cincinnati Herald, and as Partner at Cohen, Todd, Kite & Stanford LLC.

Tom Keckeis is the President and CEO of Messer Construction Company. He began his career with Messer in 1977 as a field engineer, after graduating with a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. In January of 2005, Messer elected him to become President and Chief Operating Officer, and five years later he was elected Chief Executive Officer.

Jim Sowar serves as Managing Partner for Deloitte Cincinnati. With more than 29 years of professional service experience, he advises clients in the health care provider sector on strategic planning and corporate structuring, and oversees nearly 500 Deloitte employees in Cincinnati. He joined Deloitte in 2002 after 17 years at Arthur Andersen
