Etra Fine Art in the Wynwood Arts District presents Andrea Dasha Reich: The Fusion Series
Andrea Dasha Reich, Magnolia Fusion, 2015. 40" x 80".

MIAMI, FLA.- The Fusion Series is an organic exploration of Reich’s former paintings that have evolved into a new and exciting body of work, further defining the prolific nature of this artist. Inspiration drawn from the organic shapes, innate beauty, and magnificent power found in the elements of nature, helped Reich cultivate this new collection. Dedicated in staying true to her signature style, she has taken the DNA of her previous work and transformed it into something fresh, expressive and equally beautiful. The multiple layers are still evident along with the kaleidoscope of bold colors and expressive shapes – all magnified and enhanced by the use of a mixed media of paint, resin and resin pieces. One definition of fusion is “the process or result of joining two or more things together to form a single entity” – this description encompasses the very nature of this body of work. Reich uses her internal compass to guide her through the next phase of what she feels is ready to be released and expressed onto the canvas before her. The pioneer is ever present and ready to create.

Andrea Dasha Reich, born in Prague and schooled in Jerusalem at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, is an international, contemporary, abstract artist, residing in the U.S. She has been widely collected and recognized for her mastered works in epoxy resin.

Inspired by the organic shapes and planes in nature, Reich's artworks are a woven interplay of rich color spectrums that explore the depth and intimacy of the abstract world we live in. Her works are an indication of how this prolific multimedia artist sees the world; astonishing beauty, magnificent power and the intense awe-inspiring complexion in nature of which the life and creation of color is born. Through the use of pure pigments and layers of epoxy resins, her works seem to let her visions breathe with motion and fluidity... the crystalline paintings pull you into a mysterious realm of curiosity and surprise.

Now located in the Wynwood Arts District and previously rooted in the renowned Miami Design District for nearly 10 years, Etra Fine Art focuses on representing and promoting a wide variety of mid-career and established international artists whose work represents modern and contemporary styles. The gallery exhibits paintings, drawings, prints, sculptures, photography and installations that reflect progressive concepts while incorporating traditional and non- traditional materials.
Because of its location at the crossroads of the Americas and Europe, Etra Fine Art has made it a priority to connect artists and collectors from both regions.

In addition to promoting and exhibiting artists, Etra Fine Art works with private collectors, corporations and interior designers to build collections by researching, locating, acquiring and installing an array of artwork
