NEW CANAAN, CONN.- Littlejohn Contemporary announced the opening of its satellite gallery in New Canaan, CT. New Canaan and the surrounding area has become a major destination for the arts. If you come out for a day trip to visit the Philip Johnson Glasshouse or the exciting, newly opened Grace Farmsboth in New Canaan, or The Aldrich Contemporary Art MuseumRidgefield, among the many other arts organizations, the gallery is hoping that you will add them to your itinerary.
Among the artists on view in the inaugural exhibition are Kate Breakey, Randy Bolton, Annette Davidek, Susan English, Valerie Hammond, Timothy Hawkesworth, Sarah Hinckley, Laurie Hogin, David Kroll, Jacquelyn McBain, Richard Misrach, Alison Moritsugu, Anne Siems, Melinda Stickney-Gibson, Susan Chrysler White, and Torrance York.
Also in the inaugural exhibition, Littlejohns recent collaboration with Clover Design in Bedford, New York continues with select vignettes from their collection of mid-century furnishings and decorative arts. The exhibition will run from November 16th through December 12th, 2015.
Littlejohn will continue its program in New York Citys Chelsea district with an upcoming show, many years in the making, of new work by Alison Moritsugu opening on November 14th.
