Like the other sales held there he has curated his auction as affordable for the first time buyer with select pieces for experienced collectors with deep pockets.

Bruce Marchant is the owner of The Reel Poster Gallery in London. Bruce studied sculpture at Camberwell College of Arts, before embarking on a number of private commissions. Bruce is a third generation art dealer, his family specialising in oriental art. He first started collecting film posters in the mid 1980s, and then established the business in 1991. The gallery has been responsible for producing over a dozen publications, and numerous exhibitions. The gallery co-curated an exhibition of cinema posters of the 20th century for the Suntory Museum in Osaka, Japan, which travelled to two further museums in Japan. The gallery also assisted the Design Museum, London in providing information and posters for their Saul Bass exhibition in 2004. It has loaned posters to other museums, including the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.

Bruce has been instrumental in advising clients on forming and archiving their collections. In addition to private clients, the gallery has sold to institutions, such as The Library of Congress and The Academy of Motion Pictures, Arts and Sciences.

25 Blythe Road, founded in 2007 by arms and armour specialist Thomas Del Mar, is a collective of highly experienced specialists many of whom have worked at Sotheby’s who run their own auctions under one roof in Kensington Olympia. The specialists will happily sell good quality low value lots to open up the doors to all collectors, starting at £50, going up to many tens of thousands. Curators, collectors and dealers from around the world buy from the various fields of expertise.

Also Antique Arms, Armour & Militaria, and Maritime and Scientific Models, Instruments and Works of Art. Each auction is preceded by viewing days at the 25 Blythe Road Gallery.
