Charlotte Nunn, Specialist and Head of Sale, commented: As the new collector base continues to grow in Asia, the demand for technically rich and diverse mediums such as prints, photographs and works on paper is certainly increasing. We are glad to see many new faces in the auction room today who may not necessarily have bought at auction before but are keen to buy work by internationally renowned artists at affordable prices. It is our aim to have more people discover the joys of collecting and will further underscore the importance of prints, photographs and works on paper as worthy of attention in their own right. We look forward to using on these strong results as foundations for the next sale.
