NEW YORK, NY.- Museum Music announced its latest release: Pop! Goes the Easel

Produced for the world-renown Museum of Modern Art in New York City, this wonderfully entertaining music CD features updated musical arrangements of classic children’s songs with new, original lyrics, inspired by some of the most famous works of art from MoMA’s collection.

Featuring original performances by Broadway’s biggest stars, including:
Ben Vereen · Jessie Mueller · James Monroe Iglehart · Dee Dee Bridgewater · John Leguizamo · Chuck Cooper · Sutton Foster · Andrea Martin · Richard Kind · Alice Ripley · Dulé Hill · Kelli O’Hara plus The Texas Tenors

The clever, catchy songs will inspire kids and adults alike to sing, dance, laugh, and learn about Picasso, van Gogh, Monet, Dalí, Warhol, Gauguin, and other modern art masters.

Handsomely designed in a special, mini-book package, the deluxe booklet includes beautiful images of the corresponding artwork from MoMA, as well as information on each artist, and the lyrics to each song.

Proceeds from the sale of the CD benefit MoMA and its programs.
