PALM DESERT, CA.- Heather James Fine Art will join top-tier exhibitors from around the world at Spring Masters New York, May 5 – 9, 2016, one of the more unique and highly anticipated art fairs happening during the most exciting weekend on the arts calendar in New York City. Heather James Fine Art will exhibit in Booth #B10-B11.

Heather James will be one of over 60 dealers at the third edition of Spring Masters at the historic Park Avenue Armory. The gallery will exhibit an exceptional cross-section of Impressionist, Modern, Post War, and Contemporary selections, including works by Claude Monet, Albert Bierstadt, Frederick Carl Frieseke, John Leslie Breck, William Merritt Chase, and Fernand Leger.

“We’re proud to once again participate at Spring Masters New York, which has established itself as an important destination for collectors and dealers,” says James Carona, co-owner of Heather James Fine Art. “The paintings and sculpture we selected to exhibit offers collectors the aesthetic and breadth of historical and contemporary pieces that we specialize in at the gallery.”

Timed to coincide with the peak of New York’s spring art season, the expertly curated international art and design fair’s signature “cross-category” approach has been highly successful and popular with collectors who enjoy engaging with a Renaissance painting alongside contemporary art. With its distinctive hexagonal exhibition space at the Park Avenue Armory, the fair fosters a unique dialogue between diverse periods and styles, and provides an opportunity for collectors to view works of art from antiquity through the 21st century, and across cultures and geographic regions.

In twenty years Heather James has expanded into a global network with two remarkable galleries located in Palm Desert, California and Jackson Hole, Wyoming and two consultancies in Austin, Texas, and Los Angeles, California. Gallery programs are designed to educate, stimulate, and inspire with regular exhibitions, lectures, salons, and tours.

Heather James Fine Art offers a rare look into art history’s past and present featuring a wide breadth of genres including cultural art and antiquities, American and Latin American Masters, European Masters, Impressionist and Modern, Post-War and Contemporary, and Photography. The gallery uniquely showcases blue chip and cutting-edge contemporary art while maintaining a respect for the integrity of antiquity and classical masterpieces.
