NEWBURY.- This December, Dreweatts opens the doors on a stunning European Private Single Owner Collection of gorgeous designer handbags and covetable luxury accessories. The collection is presented for the first time at auction with all lots purchased directly from the retail brands. They are offered in immaculate condition and each one is fully authenticated.

Over 550 lots will be offered, with the auction comprising more than 300 handbags, 85 designer shoes and boots, 28 lots of Louis Vuitton and Hermès belts and 75 scarves by Louis Vuitton, Burberry and other designers.

One of the highlights is Hermès, Birkin 40, Black Clemence handbag with red stitching, estimated at £4,000 - £6,000. Since its creation in 1983 this iconic handbag, with its capacious structure and elegant lines, has graced the wardrobe of thousands of women around the world. The Birkin has always been in fashion and in demand, it is a timeless classic. There are also several other enduringly chic Hermès Kelly, Birkin and Kelly II handbags in the auction.

Other highlights include a striking Struzzo Double Zip Tote bag from Prada (est. £300 - £500), a cerise leather statement bag by Dior (est. £600 - £800), a quilted black leather Chanel shoulder bag (est. £1,000 -£1,500) and a Louis Vuitton Capucine BB Bag Cuir Tourillon, (est. £300-500).

The handbags in the collection cover every possible colour and palette, from dramatic and rich winter hues to the softest and most summery of pastel shades.

The auction also features a selection of beautiful luxury accessories. Hermès ‘Constance’ belt is another design classic from the revered atelier, including the Blue Jean, is reversible to black calfskin and the coral calfskin design, showing right, is reversible to tan textured leather. Each belt comes with a brushed palladium buckle and is estimated at £150-250.

The design house of Louis Vuitton is exceptionally well represented with a large range of handbags, scarves, purses, wallets and belts.

Monogram silk and wool fringed square shawl, woven tone on tone in blue with another Louis Vuitton silk and wool fringed square shawl, tone on tone in pomme d’amour, both 140cm square, est. £200-300.

An extremely rare cream and mink Louis Vuitton blanket, featuring the famous LV monogram and logo pattern is offered at £6,000-8,000. This design has appeared only once before at auction.
