NEW YORK, NY.- The New Art Dealers Alliance, the definitive non-profit arts organization dedicated to the cultivation, support, and advancement of new voices in contemporary art, announces the opening of NADA New York.

The sixth edition of NADA New York, March 2 - 5, 2017, will take take place at Skylight Clarkson North, located at 572 Washington Street. NADA New York continues to showcase the best of emerging contemporary art, with a total of 100 exhibitors representing 37 cities from 14 different countries, 30 first time exhibitors, and 36 project spaces.

NADA and Exhibitionary announced Galería Agustina Ferreyra, based in San Juan, Puerto Rico, as the recipient of the NADA x Exhibitionary International Gallery Prize. The recipient of the prize is invited to exhibit at NADA New York, for the first time in a sponsored booth provided by Exhibitionary and NADA.

"I have long been a fan of NADA as an organization that fosters a sense of community among gallerists, so I have always been enthusiastic about participating. I'm honored and excited to have received the NADA x Exhibitionary International Gallery Prize, and am very much looking forward to presenting the work of Cristina Tufiño in New York," says gallery owner Agustina Ferreyra.

The prize, in its inaugural year, is supported in part by visitors of NADA New York through ticket sales. Exhibitionary supports local art scenes and emerging galleries around the world, and is a proud sponsor of international galleries.

Eligibility requires that applicants are commercial galleries based outside of the U.S., traveling internationally to exhibit at NADA New York for the first time. The recipient was selected by the NADA New York 2017 Selection Committee.

NADA’s non-profit model has always been a flexible and adaptable one, which continues to respond to the needs of its exhibitors and the art world at large by creatively reinventing the experience and presentation of art in a fair environment.

NADA New York is dedicated to showcasing new art and to celebrating the rising talents from around the globe.

"NADA is always looking for new ways to bring contemporary art to the public on behalf of our international exhibitors and membership base. We’re looking forward to this venture with Skylight Clarkson North, and returning to the west side for our sixth edition of NADA New York in March,” said Heather Hubbs, Executive Director of NADA.
