NEW ORLEANS, LA.- Anne Banõs, Deputy Director at the
New Orleans Museum of Art, has announced Victoria Lacayo as Events Associate. Gail Asprodites, Deputy Director for Finance and Administration, has announced Lauren Senie as Visitor Services Manager, and Jonathan Serrette as Administrative Assistant.
As NOMAs Events Associate, Victoria Lacayo will serve as a key member of the museums development and fundraising team, assisting with NOMAs annual fundraising events: Art in Bloom, NOMA Egg Hunt and Family Festival, LOVE in the Garden, and Odyssey Ball. Born and raised in Slidell, Louisiana, Lacayo has an undergraduate degree in Art History from Louisiana State University and a Masters degree in Arts Administration from the University of New Orleans. She previously completed two internships with NOMA during her time at UNO and is delighted to join NOMA as a full-time member of the development team.
Lauren Senie first joined the NOMA staff as Visitor Services Associate in April of 2016. In her new role at NOMA, Senie will lead and coordinate the development and implementation of visitor services efforts to ensure a high quality of interaction with each museum visitor. Prior to joining NOMA, Senie was with The John Best Foundation and Besh Restaurant Group in a variety of positions, including Director of Marketing. Senie received her Masters in Business Administration from Loyola University in 2013.
In the role of Administrative Assistant, Jonathan Serrette is responsible for providing various degrees of administrative assistance, including assisting NOMAs Education Department education with school tours. Serrette formerly worked at the Ogden Museum of Southern Art as a Public Programming Assistant and Visitor Services Associate for two years and assisted with fundraising events, private events, and educational programming. He received an M.A. in Museum Studies from Southern University of New Orleans.
