AMSTERDAM.- Unseen, the leading platform dedicated to contemporary photography and emerging artists, launches a disruptive digital platform committed to introducing brand new, unseen, bodies of work by today’s most exciting artists working with the medium of photography. Collaborating with galleries and an ecosystem of photography professionals, Unseen aims to break new ground by creating a dynamic environment that connects its artists to its audience and vice versa. Simply titled Unseen Platform, the new and engaging medium amplifies the careers of boundary-pushing artists, by sharing their stories, and providing fresh perspectives and insights into the world around us and the future(s) of tomorrow.

For the past seven years Unseen has been working with a network of leading international advisors from across the art world to connect artists to audiences as part of large and small scale events, and via the internationally distributed Unseen Magazine. In line with its overall mission, the goal of Unseen’s latest venture, Unseen Platform, is to become the go-to source for those wanting to explore the frontiers of photography, by presenting the latest works by the most avant-garde and adventurous artists around. As a result, the Unseen Platform will inform and nourish a strong community and create a more sustainable way for working in the arts, by directly connecting photography enthusiasts, curators, critics, collectors, authors, photo editors, gallerists and artists alike.

INNOVATIVE CONTENT CREATION
The artworks featured on the Unseen Platform are premiering projects that have been concluded in the past year and have not yet been presented elsewhere physically or online. With highly curated content, the platform provides unparalleled insight into the world of contemporary photography today, keeping its audience updated on a weekly basis. Offering a range of dynamic storytelling formats for visitors to engage with artists from around the world and their latest works, the Unseen Platform presents in-depth thematic stories, insights from industry leaders and tête-á-tête encounters with inspirational photography professionals. The platform will also incorporate the medium of film, allowing its visitors to truly get to know the artists they are interacting with, as they walk them through their creative process, their mission and ambitions, or reflect on a specific image and its meaning.
