Heritage Auctions launches monthly online fine & decorative art auctions
Edouard-Léon Cortès (French, 1882-1969), Place de la République, crépuscule, circa 1930. Oil on canvas, 13-1/8 x 18-1/8 inches. Estimate: $15,000 - $25,000.

DALLAS, TX.- The largest auction house founded in the United States will make its expansive offerings of fine & decorative art more accessible than ever before when Heritage Auctions launches monthly Fine Art auctions in the summer of 2019.

The monthly auctions, which will be held the second Thursday of each month, and will complement Heritage’s slate of Signature Live Auctions and other current Online auctions of Prints & Multiples and Photographs. The newly added Monthlies will feature a combination of material primarily from estates and downsizing collections, including Decorative Arts, Silver, Art Glass, Asian Art, American Art, European Art and The Gentleman Collector, a section devoted to material from earlier eras of automobilia, travel and exploration.

“These monthly auctions will increase collectors’ ability to acquire exceptional decorative arts and fine art without waiting for our Signature Auctions,” Heritage Auctions Vice President Ed Beardsley said. “They will allow us to meet the increasing demand for material via a streamlined, efficient online platform on www.HA.com. There will indeed be something for everyone.”

The first Monthly, which closes July 11, 2019, will be Heritage’s July Online FDA auction, featuring 200 lots including a nice selection of Lalique and European drawings that were included in the catalogue for a 1976 exhibition Italian 19th Century Drawings and Watercolors: an Album, Camuccini & Minardi to Mancini & Balla.

To consign items for the monthly sales, please contact Heritage at 214-409-1444 or via e-mail at FineArt@HA.com.

Heritage Auctions currently holds weekly auctions for Prints & Multiples and Nature & Science, as well as in eight other categories: Comics, Jewelry, Movie Posters, Sports, U.S. Coins, U.S. Currency, World and Ancient Coins and World Paper Money.
