GENEVA.- Bonhams will be offering a very special selection of supercars and prestigious collectors motor cars, representing 70 years of engineering, design and technological excellence, when it returns to Switzerland for The Bonmont Sale on Sunday 29 September at the prestigious Bonmont Golf & Country Club.

Among this line-up are the following highlights:

The Bonmont Sale also features two private collections. The first is a collection of 25 modern supercars, hypercars and other luxury motor cars, which are being sold on behalf of the State of Geneva with proceeds going to charity.

This collection is led by one of only nine roadster versions of the Lamborghini Veneno produced to celebrate the Italian marque’s 50th anniversary. This example has driven a mere 325km and has an estimate of CHF 5,200,000 – 6,200,000.

The collection also comprises:

Ferrari - LaFerrari
The Formula 1 and GT-inspired model described by the Modena manufacturer as the ‘most ambitious’ Ferrari, equipped with F1-derived hybrid technology. This particular car has covered 1,000km. Estimate: CHF 2,600,000 – 2,800,000.

McLaren P1
One of only 375 hybrid super sports made by the British manufacturing arm of the successful Formula 1 firm. Just 1000km covered. Estimate: CHF 1,500,000 – 1,800,000.

Aston Martin One-77
Number 35 of 77. Aston Martin’s flagship carbon fibre and aluminium hyper car was produced in a limited run between 2009 and 2012, featuring a 7.3-litre V12 engine, giving a top speed of 220mph. Estimate CHF 1,400,000 – 1,800,000.

Bugatti Veyron 16.4

We are thrilled to be offering this fine selection of motor cars and believe that this sale will be a highlight of the international motoring calendar. We have already received a lot of interest from serious international collectors and are looking forward to a busy weekend at Bonmont.”

The sale will take place in a 12th century abbey, next to Bonmont’s Clubhouse, a former chateau overlooking Lake Geneva. It will provide a spectacular backdrop for the sale of such a superb array of high performance and prestige motor cars.

The Bonhams sale will be preceded by two viewing days (Friday 27 – Saturday 28 September), when the collection will be presented at the Bonmont Golf & Country Club, along with highlights from the auction house’s international sales of jewellery, watches and Chinese art as well as modern and contemporary art.
