NEW YORK, NY.- Anders Wahlstedt Fine Art is presenting an exhibition titled Print selections from the Milbank Collection. The exhibit includes a whole variety of different print mediums by established American artists.
The exhibition runs from November 7th-December 19th.
The prints span over four decades, from the 1970s through the 2000s and were in the collection of the prestigious law firm Milbank.
Exhibited artist are; Caio Fonseca, April Gornik, John Newman, Steven Sorman, Yvonne Jacquette, Ellen Phelan, Duncan Hannah, Tamara Gonzales & David Dupuis.
One of the tour de force prints is the Caio Fonseca Seven string etching No. 4. The artist has used Color spite bite, sugar lift aquatint, soft ground etching & chine colle to create this bold and brilliant blue abstract shapes that are both angular and curved and interconnected with fine sepia lines.
Also present in the Exhibit is the mono print After Wallis II, 1989 in colors on hand made paper by Duncan Hannah. Printed by Vermillion Press, Minneapolis, MN, the image depicts a lone ship out at sea without any people present.
