GUANGZHOU, CHINA.- People visit the Guangzhou International Art Fair 2004 on December 16, 2004 in Guangzhou, China. More than 300 galleries and art dealers displayed their artworks on the fair. The Ninth Guangzhou International Art Exposition is to be held at Jinhan Exhibition Center from Thursday to Monday. The exhibition will showcase well-known classic works of art from around the world including the sculpture Strength of Music from the Cheng Xindong Art Gallery in France. The three-meter-tall sculpture, composed of more than 20 violins, showed enthusiasm and love for art and life. An oil painting exhibition by well-known Guangdong artists including Li Tiefu, Guan Liang, Lin Fengmian will also be held during the expo. The expo, which covers an exhibition area of 8,000 square meters with 350 exhibition booths, will attract more than 20 exhibitors from France, Spain and Italy.
