TEHRAN, IRAN.- The Iranian Cultural Heritage and Tourism Organization will start an international competition for the building of the Persian Gulf great museum.

Ahmad Nosrati, Iranian museums director, said, “Due to the recent measures by the private institutes in changing the name of the Persian Gulf, Iran’s CHTO has decided to quicken the building of the Persian Gulf museum and put forward an international competition for it.”

“After the building of this national museum is completed, Iranian CHTO is going to set up a chain of museums with a focus on the subject of the Persian Gulf. According to our polls, all the cities on the banks of the Persian Gulf are in favor of having a museum with the subject of gulf to show their sensitivity toward these waters”, Ahmad Nosrati stated.
