5 things you didn't know about flavored lubricants

In sexual matters, anything we can use to improve the experience is by all means welcome. From toys, to accessories, to other kinky props. The important thing is that both members of the couple enjoy sexual act to its fullest and go through the sensual wonders that sex provides together.

Excellent lubrication is essential so that penetration is not painful, and the sexual relationship satisfactory. However, many women fail to produce lubricate naturally. Do not worry, if you can’t get wet naturally, personal lubricants can help you.

There is a wide variety of sexual flavored lubricants; all you have to do is identify which one is the right one for you. It is best to avoid using homemade lubricants, such as petroleum jelly or moisturizers, as they could cause serious vaginal irritation and infections.

It is recommended that you use specially designed lubricants for sex, which can quickly be obtained in sex shops or pharmacies. Their composition varies so that you will have plenty of choice. Lubes are usually based either on silicone, oil, or water. And if you like to taste your favorite flavor while enjoying sex, in that case flavored lube may just be your thing.

SILICONE

This type of flavored lubricants is ideal for underwater sex but are not suitable for use with sex toys that are also silicone, as they can irritate.

Main feature of silicone lubes is that they are very long lasting, and don’t dry up as water based lubricants tend to.

But before using, it is recommended that you apply a small amount on your hand or somewhere on your body, and pay attention if any reaction occurs. You may be allergic, and therefore going straight for the intimate parts may not be wise.

OIL

Mineral oil (aka petroleum jelly) is not recommend because apart from leaving stains, they can break the latex of the condom and damage the pH of the skin.

However oils such as coconut oil, almond oil, and olive oil, can just as well end up being your favorite choice. Just make sure that you get cold-pressed and extra-virgin (the healthiest type of oil).

Oils get absorbed into skin, and thus provide benefits for your skin. Oils are rich in nutrition and vitamins and they also tend to make your skin more elastic.
Some oils have nice distinctive flavor. Like coconut oils, which has an amazing coconuty smell and taste.

WATER

They are considered the best choice, as they are compatible with condoms and most won’t stain your sheets. The only downside is that they cannot be used for shower fun.

5 cool things you probably didn’t know about (flavored) lubricants based on water:

1. They work moisturizing: Not all lubricants have this characteristic, but if you ever used it, you should know that it can help you treat dry lips, regenerate hair ends, help you remove temporary tattoos, and moisturize elbows and feet.

2. Quick and easy removal of false eyelashes: In case the process of removing eyelashes is uncomfortable or painful. Using a water-based lubricant is an excellent option.

3. Can be used for an excellent anti-stress message: In case you don't like oils, you can use this option.

4. Add few drops inside the condom (if you use one): If you add few drops of your flavored lube inside the condom that will make him go wild for sure. It gives a sensational feeling to a man. Just use only few drops, there’s no need to add more of it.

5. There’s more than 20 flavors to pick from: You can get them in more than 20 different flavors (banana, pina colada, chocolate, strawberry, vanilla … these are just some of the flavorings).

There is a wide range of exotic flavorings and scents to choose from when buying your best flavored lubricant. It is perfect for even higher level of excitement under the sheets.

So as you can see, flavored lubricants are not only used when natural lubrication is not enough. It is the perfect complement to give a different touch to sexual relations. You can invite your partner and engage in some naughty foreplay to increase the temperature, or to simply enjoy more of your favorite sex toys. And doing it with flavor can be quite amazing.

The way to use them is easier than you think. A small drop or two is sufficient at the entrance to the vagina, anus, or penis. You can play with your fingers to spread it out and enjoy twice as much. If you want to make the situation more sensual, do not hesitate to use it to give a sensual massage of those area on the body that you prefer most.

Only you should be careful if you use a condom since you can make it slip. Then you’ve killed the mood and probably won’t be able to enjoy the rest of the session to its full potential.
