Gerard Huerta and his wonderful logos and illustrations
Gerard Huerta, American Leather logo.

By Ignacio Villarreal

Gerard Huerta was born in California and graduated from the prestigious Art Center College of Design; he went to work to New York at a very young age and soon found success designing record covers CBS records. The design of the TIME magazine logo in the 1970’s is perhaps the one that gave him the most prestige in the middle of the 70’s. Even though Gerard had success early in life accompanied by his wife Debra that helps him with management tasks, he has always kept his feet on the ground and has become an important designer always maintaining his humbleness.

We now give Gerard Huerta a space in our GraphicGallery, which fills us up with satisfaction for his talent and his quality as a person. Greetings Gerard, and thanks for your collaboration on different projects we worked together. (IV)
