Herb Ritts and Mario Testino Get Rodeo Drive Walk of Style

BEVERLY HILLS, CA.- The City of Beverly Hills and the Rodeo Drive Committee honored famed fashion photographers the late Herb Ritts and Mario Testino with the Rodeo Drive Walk of Style(R) Award on Sunday, March 20. The on-going award, inaugurated in 2003, honors style legends for their contributions to the worlds of fashion and entertainment. Ritts and Testino were honored with a permanent plaque that features their quote and signature placed in the sidewalk along the world-renowned street. The Italian Trade Commission, as part of their Italia: Life in "I" Style campaign, presented the evening's celebration.

Presenters included Cameron Diaz, Patrick Swayze, Anna Wintour and Malcolm Rogers. Anjelica Huston hosted the evening's events. Other guests included City of Beverly Hills officials and members from the fashion, art and entertainment industries.

An outdoor photo exhibition of selected work from both Ritts and Testino will be displayed on Rodeo Drive and in the Beverly Hills Golden Triangle through May 1. Famed Ritts' photographs are highlighted, including ones of Madonna and Sophia Loren, as well as iconic images of Julia Roberts, Jennifer Aniston and others from Testino's dynamic portfolio. The Rodeo Drive Walk of Style(R) Photo Exhibition: Celebrating the Imagery of Herb Ritts and Mario Testino is free of charge and open to the public.

Ritts and Testino were selected to receive the Rodeo Drive Walk of Style(R) Award by an independent group of representatives from the media, entertainment and fashion industries, who were invited to nominate style legends for their contributions to fashion and entertainment. Past honorees of this award include Giorgio Armani and Tom Ford.
