NEW YORK, NY.- Tecno Zanotta Group, a name synonymous with Italian innovation and know-how, introduces Zanotta House New York, a remarkable new concept space located at 23 Cornelia Street in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village. Zanotta House New York is not a showroom nor a boutique apartment; instead, it is a living experience created to explore the interactions of people and products in today’s evolving home.

Zanotta House New York seeks to celebrate, communicate, intrigue, and become an eye-catching cultural space for the design community to come together in dialogue about the future of residential design. The house will welcome clients, architects, and designers by appointment, offering an oasis for a private meeting, a business breakfast, a presentation, or an overnight stay. On other occasions, the house will host public events, art exhibitions, performances, opening up to different audiences (university, culture, and art) to connect with diverse communities in mutual enrichment.

“Zanotta House New York is a new business model, a new form of expressing the brand,” explains Giuliano Mosconi, CEO of Tecno and Zanotta.”Tecno and Zanotta share an important history in the birth and affirmation of Italian design in the world. A focus on quality and innovation that allows them to work together while maintaining the identity and know-how of the two brands: Zanotta, home, and hospitality; Tecno, innovation, and technology.”

The house offers the opportunity to show many different interpretations of the use of space. On the one hand, the furnishings of the Zanotta collections offer different suggestions: Zanotta does not offer a specific style but objects with their own autonomous dimension. On the other hand, Tecno's expertise has created a tailor made space to highlight project skills, integrate technology in a soft way and improve the overall comfort of the environment.

Tihany Design, one of the most renowned New York studios specializing in residential and hospitality projects, creates the inaugural design of the home's interior and exterior spaces. In unprecedented times when the relationship between home and city, private and public, internal and external, are being rethought, Tihany Design takes a fluid approach to needs born over the past two years. The vision is a hybrid place where new functions such as remote work and relationships come together.

“I chose to tell the story of the Zanotta brand from a human perspective with a distinct feminine persona in mind: a ’modern metropolitan muse,” says Alessia Genova, Managing Partner of Tihany Design. “Each room has a defined and decisive look and mood. Most of the furniture, chosen among the most iconic Zanotta pieces, relate to a particular theme while keeping the style diverse, elegant, and contemporary.”

Zanotta House New York is also a collective project, including the collaboration of other international companies that share with Zanotta the commitment to research and quality, according to a new distribution model. In this context Viabizzuno, as a project partner, has dealt with lighting in every part of the house with an innovative approach, interpreting natural light and reducing consumption.

Other partners include: textiles and curtains from Kvadrat; CCTapis carpets; Wallpepper for wallpapers; Bellino Linens; the comfort of sleeping guaranteed by Magniflex premium mattresses; Bosa for the ceramics and Venini for the glass vases; the services for the table are by Luigi and Rocco Bormioli; for the food & beverage brands of excellence such as Tartufi Urbani and Ca’ Del Bosco.

All the artworks displayed are part of Art of the World, one of Los Angeles' most significant contemporary collections. Among the works chosen are internationally renowned artists such as Mr. Brainwash, the famous French street and pop artist.

The greenery, curated by Rossana Capurso, is intended as an integral part of the house and marks the rhythm of seasons in harmony with nature. The project follows sustainability principles, favoring rainwater recovery for irrigation and integrating different species of plants.
