GLEN COVE, NY.- Roland Auctions NY in Glen Cove, NY will present their latest in a summer series of specially curated multi-estates auctions on Saturday, September 10th at 10am (EST) features hundreds of lots of fine and contemporary art, silver, decorative arts, unique Asian items, antique & vintage furniture, rugs, jewelry and lighting. Previews will be held on Thursday, September 8th and Friday, September 9th 10am - 6pm.

The auction features a strong emphasis on fine and contemporary art, offering an exquisite Ker-Xavier Roussell (French, 1867-1944): "Baigneuses" (Bathers), impressionist oil on canvas painting of nudes in a river landscape setting titled "Baigneuses" (Bathers), unsigned. Circa 1906-1907, estimate $20,000 - $30,000, a Martiros Saryan (Armenian, 1880-1972): Mountain Scene, colorful oil on canvas painting of a mountain scene, signed and dated lower right, 1924. [23 1/4" H x 19 1/4" W], estimate $10,000 - $15,000 and an Elbridge Ayer Burbank (American, 1858-1949): Girl with Candle, oil on board painting of a girl with a candle, 1896. Signed and dated lower right "E.A. Burbank 96", pencil marks to reverse. [Art: 8" H x 5 7/8" W; Frame: 11 7/8" H x 5 1/2" W]. Loose in frame. Estimate $8,000 - $12,000.

Also featured is a Leopold Schmutzler (German, 1864-1941): Woman with Rose), oil on panel painting of a woman with a white rose, signed upper right. [Art: 29 1/2" H x 22 1/2" W; Frame: 40" H x 33 1/2" W], estimate $4,000 - $7,000, along with another Leopold Schmutzler (German, 1864-1941) Girl at a Well, oil on board painting of a girl at the well, signed upper right. [Art: 37 1/2" H x 27" W; Frame: 45 3/4" H x 34 1/2" W]. Estimate $4,000 - $7,000.

In addition, a lot of attention will be on the Pierre-Auguste Renior (French, 1841-1919): "Le Chapeau Epingle, 2e planche" ("Pinning the Hat") original lithograph, 1897, from the edition of 100 printed in black (there is also an edition of 50 printed in sanguine and 50 printed in brown). Literature: Delteil-Stella 30, Roger-Marx 5. [Litho: 31 5/16" H x 24 7/8" W; Frame: 40" H x 34 3/4" W]. Estimate $4,000 - $6,000.

Highlighting the furniture arena is a Paul Evans "Cityscape" 20th C. Modern Sideboard, Mid century modern sculptural two door, wall mounted sideboard, having brass and walnut juxtaposed dimensional elements and a black lacquer top. Each door folds open, both interior door panels are marked "PE-380". [32" H x 95" W x 25" D]. Estimate $6,500 - $8,000.

Fine silver and decorative items are always a favorite at Roland, with this month’s focus on a stunning Buccellati Italian Sterling Silver Centerpiece, Italian sterling silver centerpiece comprising two shell-form dishes centered with dolphin-form handles, marked to base "Sterling 925". 56 ozt. [7 3/4" H x 15 3/4" W x 10" D], estimate $7,000 - $9,000, a pair of Late 19th C. Bronze Dore Figures. Pair of allegorical female figures in partial gilt robes on serpent and turtle, marble bases. Signed Boaret (Europe). [18" H], estimate $3,000 - $4,000 and an After Oswaldo Guayasamin (Ecuadorian, 1919-1999), Face - Bronze Sculpture, patinated bronze sculpture of a face, signed on the back and numbered 3/6, on a stone base. [20" H x 6" W x 6" D].Estimate $3,500 - $5,500.
