SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA.-The Australian Centre for Photography presents Erwin Olaf - Elegance & Perversity, on view through August 28, 2005 and curated by Paco Barragán. Erwin Olaf brings his incisive wit and vision to create a satirical portrait of our contemporary consumer society. Visually sophisticated and conceptually provocative, his images challenge global trends towards youth-obsessed sexuality, hypocrisy, violence, hyper-consumerism and social control.

Specially curated for ACP, this solo exhibition by the celebrated Dutch photographer brings to Australia recent works that have delighted and outraged audiences across Europe. Erwin Olaf is represented by Flatland Gallery, Utrecht.
