MUMBAI.- The horology collection for AstaGuru’s upcoming ‘Jewellery, Silver & Timepieces’ auction is steeped in timeless luxury with a wide gamut of vintage, modern, bejewelled watches along with those with high complications. The state-of-the-art timepieces being showcased in the auction come from globally renowned luxury brands like Rolex, Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe, Jaeger-Lecoultre, Cartier, Chopard, Omega, Breguet, Bvlgari, and Franck Muller. The auction is scheduled to be held on May 28-29,2023.

Leading the auction line up is an assortment of coveted timepieces by Patek Philippe.

Founded in 1839 in Geneva, Switzerland, Patek Philippe (PP) is part of the Holy Trinity. They have a history of crafting many of the most beautiful and complicated timepieces in the world and are considered one of the most prestigious names in watchmaking.

Lot no. 170 is a Nautilus Moon Phase Wristwatch REF NO. 5726. The watch features a stainless steel case with a grey dial, an automatic movement with day, date & month function. This lot is presented along with the original box & papers. It is estimated to sell at INR 77,00,000 – 99,00,000.

Lot no. 163 is a Patek Philippe 18k White Gold Annual Calendar Wristwatch Ref: 5205G-001. It features an automatic movement with an annual calendar, and 45 hours power reserve. This lot will be presented along with the original box & papers and estimated to sell at INR 32,85,000 – 38,85,000.

Lot no. 164 is a Patek Philippe 18k Yellow Gold Grand Complication Perpetual Calendar Wristwatch. It comes in an 18k yellow gold case with an ivory white dial. Complications showcased are a perpetual calendar, moonphase. It will be offered with an estimate of INR 32,00,000 – 42,00,000.

Lot no. 165 is a Patek Philippe 18k Rose Gold World Time Wristwatch REF NO. 5130R. The self-winding automatic watch comes in a 18k rose gold case surrounding a silver world time dial on a brown alligator strap with an 18k rose gold buckle. This lot is presented along with the original box & papers. It is estimated to be sold at INR 26,00,000 – 29,00,000.

The auction will also present a selection of some brilliant timepieces by Rolex. Founded in 1905, Rolex sits at the apex of the watchmaking pyramid. With a radical innovative watch-making process, every single watch this brand offers boasts of precise time telling.

One of these is lot no. 119, a Rolex GMT Master II(Rootbeer) Wristwatch REF NO. 16713 L SERIAL. It features an automatic movement with date function, stainless steel case with a brown dial, and 42 hours power reserve. It is estimated to be acquired at INR 7,50,000 – 9,50,000.

Lot no. 133 is an 18k Rose Gold Tradition Wristwatch REF NO. 7057 by Breguet. It features an Open work dial and manual winding with power reserve indicator. It is offered with an estimate of INR 12,85,000 – 16,85,000.
