MUMBAI.- AstaGuru recently held its Jewellery, Silver, and Timepieces Auction, which showcased an exquisite collection of coveted jewellery, vintage silver, and extraordinary timepieces. The meticulously curated catalogue brings together a broad range of sophisticated artisanal pieces that are a hallmark of the exceptional design and craftsmanship heritage from different parts of the world. The auction was held on the AstaGuru website on May 28-29, 2023.

Lot no. 100, a Patek Philippe Aquanaut Wristwatch REF NO. 5167, was acquired for INR 58,85,199. The automatic movement timepiece comes in a steel case with a black embossed dial. When launched in 1997, the Aquanaut created a sensation. It was young, modern and unexpected. Its case was a rounded octagon inspired by that of the Nautilus. And it sported a tropical strap made of a new composite material ultra-resistant to wear, salt water and UV radiation.
Lot no. 164 is a Patek Philippe 18k Yellow Gold Grand Complication Perpetual Calendar Wristwatch. It comes in an 18k yellow-gold case with an ivory-white dial. Complications showcased are a perpetual calendar and moon phase. It was acquired for INR 41,12,064.
Two timepieces from Audemars Piguets 18k Rose Gold Royal Oak Wristwatch series were acquired enthusiastically by the collectors. Lot no. 127 with REF NO. 4989 was sold for INR 36,79,830. Lot no. 142 with REF NO. 15400SR was acquired at INR 35,33,805. Both timepieces feature a rose-gold case with a honeycomb white dial and a screwed-down 18k rose gold bezel with crafted hands. These lots were presented along with the original papers.
Lot no. 128, a Rolex Daytona Blue-racing Cosmograph Wristwatch REF NO. 116518. SERIES-G was acquired at INR 28,27,044. The timepiece features a gold case with a blue dial with gold, blue subdials and iconic red-racing hands.
