LOS ANGELES, CA.- Experience a beautiful, edgy and sexy selection of artwork from Los Angeles's top, new contemporary artists at the 16th Annual Sensual & Erotic Art Exhibition: The Fetish Image at the Erotica LA convention taking place June 23 through June25, 2008. In its 16th year, this provocative satellite exhibit from the XART Gallery is presented by Adult Video News. Arranged without walls, The Annual demonstrates the sense of identity and cohesion experienced by contemporary artists living and working in the greater Los Angeles area.

The Fetish Image, originally premiered at The XART Gallery in Downtown Los Angeles, CA, is currently the most sought after art exhibition about erotica. In the past few decades the artists featured have played a large role in promoting positive change and a new social drive for the freedom of expression – the driving goal of sponsor and promoter, The Lifestyles Organization.

The 16th Annual Sensual & Erotic Art Exhibition: the Fetish Image is organized by the XART Gallery in Los Angeles and is sponsored by The Lifestyles Organization. Participating artists include, Dujuna Blackman, David Bloksberg, Peter Bodner, Larry Coleman, Lord Tim Hudson, Jasmine, Karynna, Pornotopia.com, Joe Pardice, Robyn Raggio, Sagemonn, Craig Scoffone, Brian Soucy, Martin Tellez, Frank Venades and many more.

"Erotic artwork is the clearest and most accurate mirror of a givensociety," said XART Gallery Director Luis De La Cruz. "Sometimes critics find difficulty distinguishing between pornography and art. Even though both types of images use sex, the combination of artistic or erotic qualities and subtle pornography are the prime reason the artwork receives such critical acclaim. Although the images may contain pornographic qualities, the overall aesthetics reveal the fundamental investments of art."

"We are proud to hold such a magnificent and respected annual exhibition at our show," states Chad Beecher, Vice President of Marketing & Operations for ELA. "We believe the XART Gallery will have a large impact on our attendees and the exhibit is sure to inspire even more people to embrace their freedom of expression. Attendees participation exposes the masses to this original and stunning art, giving them the option to purchase these amazing pieces."

A highlight of this year's exhibit is BODY and MIND…the aesthetic genius of R.C. Horsch – a special, all-encompassing array of beauty, sensuality, emotion and humor from the post-modern master artist, which was a huge success on its European tour.

Presented for the first time in the United States will be samples of Latin Erotic Art in Latin Visions: The Sensual & Erotic Art by Latin Artists. Partial list of artists include; Alejandro Zenker, Alfredo Gutierrez , Francisco Cabello, Lucile de Hoyos, Valra, Luis Garzon, Roberto Rosique, Angela Gonzales, Cecilia Navarro, Miguel Najera, Cesar Borja, Manuel Ramirez, Enrique Avilez, Gilly Valadez, Vidal Pinto, and Javier Galaviz. In addition, the XART Gallery will feature photographs from the renowned new book, "LOVE & LUST" by Donna Ferrato.

Erotica LA, now in its tenth consecutive year, and growing substantially each year, is world-renowned for introducing new products, services and concepts in the world of romantic, sensual and erotic entertainment. Over the past decade, sensuous entertainment has become more accessible to the public and the headlining industry has become the consistent subject of mainstream network and cable shows. Erotica LA is one of the first conventions to take this mainstream entertainment directly to the consumer. Erotica LA brings together merchants, exhibitors, talent, educators and consumers alike in the most newsworthy and entertaining event of the year!
