BELFAST, NORTHERN IRELAND.- The British Council and the Arts Council of Northern Ireland will work in partnership on the delivery of Northern Ireland’s second presentation at the Venice Biennale in 2007. We are now seeking to appoint a curator or a curatorial partnership to research, develop and deliver Northern Ireland’s artistic presence.

The curator/s should have an excellent knowledge of contemporary art practice in Northern Ireland and an understanding of developments in contemporary visual arts at an international level.

Proposals should be submitted to British Council on or before 4.30pm on Monday 21 August 2006. Interviews will be held on Tuesday 29 August 2006.
