Saul Leiter An Unfinished World
A pioneer in colour photography
From 24 January 2025, Foam presents a major retrospective of celebrated American artist Saul Leiter (19232013). Leiter was one of the most influential photographers of the 1950s in the United States and a pioneer of colour photography. This exhibition features 200 works, including his black-and-white and colour photography and his abstract paintings.

Sakir Khader Yawm al-Firak
Farewell in times of war and displacement
On 7 February 2025 Yawm al-Firak opens, the first solo exhibition by Palestinian-Dutch photographer Sakir Khader. In this exhibition, Khader brings to light the stories of those whose lives abruptly ended during the occupation of Palestine, along with the narratives of those they left behind.
Diana Markosian Father
Photography as a bridge to the past
Starting 7 March 2025, Foam presents Father by artist Diana Markosian. This exhibition follows Markosians journey to reconnect with her estranged father through documentary photography, family photos, and archival materials.
Hiền Hoàng Asian narratives and identity through art and nature
Foam will present the solo exhibition of interdisciplinary artist Hiền Hoàng from 6 June 2025. Hoàng explores Asian cultural narratives, the relationship between humanity and nature and the role of identity. Her work is unique for integrating photography, sculpture, video, installations and performances.
Augusta Curiel: Surinamese Photographer
One of Surinames first female photographers
On 22 May 2025, the exhibition Augusta Curiel: Surinamese Photographer 18731937 opens. Curiel was one of Surinames first female photographers, running a successful photo studio in Paramaribo. The exhibition features portraits and images capturing daily life in Suriname during the Dutch colonial period.
