TASHKENT, UZBEKISTAN.- The National Institution of Art and Design named after K.Bekhzod presents "Sun of Asia" personal exhibition of young talented artist, on view through November 15, 2006. Ivanova Ekaterina: She was born on 24th of December in 1985, in Tashkent. From child preschool age Ekaterina takes a great interest in paintings and choreography. In 1993-94 was engaged in fine arts study group. In 1995 entered in Art School on fine arts and choreography classes. Then, she entered and finished Art Academic College on easel painting class.
In 2005 won the contest "Artists against the slavery". From February till March 2005 - personal exhibition in Exhibition hall of Republican Art College
In 2006 won 3-rd price on painting in the contest of the Academy of Art of Uzbekistan. Currently, she is studying in National institute of Art and Design named after K. Bekhzod, on the faculty of easel painting.
