CANNES.- Located just a few steps from the Rue d'Antibes, one of Cannes' most emblematic streets, the Showroom-gallery Caprini & Pellerin opens its doors on the ground floor of the agency's headquarters at 5, Rue d'Oran. With a surface area of 110 m², this unique space embodies a philosophy, a sensitive and lively vision of architecture, seen as both an aesthetic and emotional experience. The gallery is positioned as a hybrid space, at the crossroads of art, architecture, design and craft. Conceived as a place for dialogue and exchange, it hosts one-off pieces, limited editions and objects created in collaboration with the agency's partner artists, designers and craftspeople. Each work presented is part of a coherent narrative, combining noble materials, singular forms and exceptional know-how.

More than just a showroom, the Caprini & Pellerin gallery is a real living space, where you can discover an art of living inspired by the Mediterranean and a constant search for harmony between function and emotion. It reflects the agency's universe: contemporary, generous, epicurean and deeply rooted in the region.

Emmanuelle Luciani's carte blanche

For its opening, the gallery is celebrating the richness of Mediterranean creativity by exhibiting, in collaboration with Galerie Podgorny, the works of Emmanuelle Luciani, a singular figure on the contemporary art scene, who will be on show for a month.

As an artist, curator and independent artistic director, Emmanuelle Luciani has for several years been developing a universe where classical art, popular culture and performance merge in large-scale total art settings. Founder of Southway Studio and the Pavillon Southway in Marseille, she explores an aesthetic rooted in the cross-disciplinary nature of art and the transmission of knowledge. A regular collaborator with institutions such as the Beaux-Arts de Paris, MO.CO and Arts Déco, she also teaches the social history of art at Sciences Po Aix.

Inaugural exhibition: ‘Drive and Drape: Dante's galaxy salon’

Through her sculptural duo with Alex Dante, Bella Hunt & Dante Di Calce, Emmanuelle Luciani presents an immersive installation transforming the space into a futuristic collector's cabinet.

The setting reveals a series of hybrid sculptures - part decorative art, part contemporary - combining neoclassical forms, mechanical elements and frozen draperies with a metallic glitter. True contemporary artefacts, these pieces question and fuse the imaginary worlds of car tuning, chivalry and science fiction.

The gallery will also be representing other artists, including Cypriot artist Elina Ioannou, painter Franck Lebraly, ceramist Olivia Cognet and Caroline Beauzon. This programme highlights the shared artistic sensibility and strong local roots at the heart of the gallery's DNA.
